The Tribeca Film Festival celebrated the 35th anniversary of classic mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap at Beacon Theatre on Saturday night, with a special screening of the film and a Q&A with writers and stars Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Harry Shearer and director Rob Reiner. After the Q&A, Guest (Nigel Tufnel), McKean (David St. Hubbins) and Shearer (Derek Smalls) treated the audience to a set of acoustic Tap classics, including “Hell Hole,” “Sex Farm,” “Big Bottom,” “(Listen To The) Flower People,” and more. For “Gimme Some Money” (which was, as you know, from when Spinal Tap were known as the Thamesmen), they brought out special guest Elvis Costello to sing lead. Watch video of the whole set, and check out the setlist (via YouTube user Paul T) below.

Elvis Costello will be on tour with Blondie this summer.
