SPIN’s 50 Best Albums of 2017

SPIN

Best of Year Season continues with SPIN‘s 50 Best Albums of 2017. They’ve got a lot of the usual suspects, and this year’s Big Three (Kendrick, SZA, and Lorde) are all in the top 10, but it’s interesting how highly they rank certain lesser-known picks like Jlin, Julie Byrne, and the Alice Coltrane compilation on Luaka Bop that all crack the top 10. Since this list comes out in mid-December, it makes room for the late-in-the-year Miguel album. It’s also got the divisive Taylor Swift album, some fringe stuff like Pile, Ex Eye and The Weather Station, and more. Read SPIN’s commentary HERE and check out their full list below.
