Stza of SFH, at Gramercy with Leftover Crack (more by Justina Villanueva)
SFH

Star Fucking Hipsters is a ska-punk/crust punk/Indie band that was started by Leftöver Crack’s vocalist Stza and [then] drummer Brandon as a side project.. Unfortunately, Brandon died before the band was fully formed. However, Stza continued and… the band started playing shows in the New York City area early in August 2005…. Their debut album was released by Fat Wreck Chords on September 30, 2008, entitled “Until We’re Dead”. -[Wiki]

Star Fucking Hipsters have a new slab of tunes out on Jello Biafra’s Alternative Tentacles label. Dig on a pair of tracks from that release, Never Rest in Peace, above.

The NYC band will hit the road for a string of dates with Anti-Flag, Cancer Bats and Aiden as part of “The Economy Sucks, Let’s Party” Tour. Look for that to hit NYC at Highline Ballroom on 2/4/10. Tickets are on sale. Prediction: bottle service and the Highline Ballroom kitchen will not do well that night. The tour hits Starland Ballroom one day later. Tickets are on sale for that too.

More info on the SFH album and all dates below…

Never Rest in Peace

Never Rest In Peace is the second album and Alternative Tentacles debut by the punk supergroup featuring Sturg “Stza” Crack (Leftover Crack, Choking Victim), Frank Piegaro (The Degenerics), and Nico de Gallo (Casa de Chihuahua), as well as members of Hold Steady [Franz Nicolay], Ensign, Big Attack!,
Awkward Thought, and Aloke.

…Recorded almost entirely in the band members’ bedrooms at the world famous C-Squat on Manhattan’s Lower East Side… by up and coming production wizard Ryan D. Jones and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Beastie Boys, Metallica, Ramones, Rancid, Nirvana, Slayer),… the record includes cameos from Dick Lucas (Subhumans U.K., Citizen Fish, Culture Shock), Jasper Pattison (Citizen Fish, Culture Shock), and Bryan Kienlen (Bouncing Souls).
