Stephin Merrit shared 2 songs based on his Scrabble poems, playing City Winery in November (tix on BV presale)

Having finished up a tour with cellist Sam Davol earlier this summer, Magnetic Fields main man Stephin Merritt will be playing City Winery this fall on November 14. Stephin Merritt recently composed two “micro-songs” titled “Lo” and “La”. They were based on two poems from 101 Two Letter Words, Stephin’s homage to the smallest words recognized by Scrabble. Watch videos of hiim and Davol performing them below.
