Stereolab officially kick off their first tour in over a decade on Thursday in Brussels, but are warming up for it with two shows at 140 capacity Ramsgate Music Hall in Ramsgate, England. The first of those just happened. With a band like Stereolab whose discography is vast, choosing a setlist has to be tough and the Ramsgate show was a mix of favorites (“Miss Modular,” “Metronomic Underground,” “Ping Pong,” “French Disko,” “Percolator”) and deep cuts (“Fluorescences,” “Baby Lulu,” “Brigitte,” “John Cage Bubblegum”). No video has surfaced yet but check out the setlist and a few pics below, and we’ll see how much it changes with Wednesday’s show.

The band, which at this show was Laetitia Sadier, Tim Gane, Andy Ramsay, Joe Watson and Xavi Munoz (who has played in Laetitia’s solo group), play Ramsgate Music Hall again on Wednesday and hit Barcelona’s Primavera Sound this weekend. The North American tour starts in September and includes two sold-out NYC shows at Broooklyn Steel. All tour date are listed below.
