stream All Get Out’s “God Damn” from Equal Vision debut ‘No Bouquet’

All Get Out

All Get Out are releasing their new album No Bouquet on November 2 via Equal Vision, their first for the label. To quote the band’s bio, written by Mike Huguenor of Shinobu, Hard Girls, and Jeff Rosenstock’s band:

Throughout, No Bouquet is colored the deep green of Southern moss, its subtle and welcome Americana influences bearing out in Nathan’s slight drawl and Kyle’s hints of lap steel, baritone guitar, and slide. The combination of these elements with All Get Out’s already mature emo makes for an album that hits all the right notes, recalling in passages The Weakerthans, Murder By Death, and Bright Eyes, as much as it does Death Cab for Cutie or The Get Up Kids. And with the lush production of Mike Watts (Glassjaw, The Dear Hunter, Dillinger Escape Plan) the band sounds bigger, and more completely themselves, than ever before.

We’re premiering the new song “God Damn,” which Huguenor compares to Jimmy Eat World, and you can definitely hear that coming through in the emo-metal riffs that recall something like “Get It Faster.” The song’s also got soaring alternative rock hooks and a nice little folky passage worked in. If you dig music with the pure physical force of the grunge era and the heartstring-pulling of turn-of-the-millennium emo, “God Damn” is very worth hearing. Check it out below, and if you like what you hear, you can pre-order the album.

All Get Out are also touring in November with Homesafe, Household and Sunsleeper, including a Brooklyn show on 11/6 at Baby’s All Right (tickets). All dates are listed below.
