stream Caspian's "Nostalgist" ft. Pianos Become the Teeth's Kyle Durfey

Caspian‘s new album On Circles is out today on Triple Crown, and that means so is the song featuring Pianos Become the Teeth frontman Kyle Durfey, “Nostalgist.” That’s a dream collab for fans of the shared ground between post-rock and emo — PBTT are basically a post-rock band with vocals and Caspian’s post-rock has always kind of sounded like instrumental emo — and it sounds like as much of a match made in heaven in execution as it did on paper. Like the rest of the album, “Nostalgist” was produced by Will Yip (who also did the last two PBTT albums), and it’s a truly gorgeous song all around. Listen below. Pianos Become the Teeth are also opening part of Caspian’s tour, including the NYC show on April 8 at Le Poisson Rouge which is also with Maserati (tickets). Caspian’s West Coast dates are with The Velvet Teen. All dates are listed below.
