Texas collective Golden Dawn Arkestra release their new album, Darkness Falls on the Edge of Time, this Friday. The album is the group’s widest-reaching album yet, pulling in elements of French pop, post-punk, krautrock, tropicalia and more into their jazzy, funky, cosmic sound. Golden Dawn Arkestra will be coming to NYC for a release show at Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday, October 12 with Tortured Soul (tickets). It’s their only live date at the moment.
