stream Happiness' (mem Deer Tick) debut album 'Live'
Providence’s Happiness — aka three members of Deer Tick and Rafay Rashid of Ravi Shavi — have been around since 2013 but they just got around to releasing their debut album, Live. If you dig the folk-rock-meets-garage-rock of Deer Tick, you’ll probably dig this album too, and Happiness also add in a little tripped-out psychedelia that makes for a nice touch. It’s got a clear but raw, earthy sound (engineered and produced by the band’s own Dennis Ryan) that’s the perfect fit for this kind of thing, and it’s a very catchy batch of songs.
