stream Western Addiction's first album in 12 years, 'Tremulous'

San Francisco punks Western Addiction will release their new album Tremulous this Friday (3/10) via Fat Wreck Chords (pre-order). The band, who share members with Dead To Me, reunited a few years ago and put out a couple EPs, but this is their first full-length since their 2005 debut Cognicide. The album was produced by Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape and mixed by the talented Matt Bayles (Minus the Bear, Mastodon), and it’s a nice half hour chunk of melodic hardcore that rips from start to finish. Western Addiction really know how to get that perfect balance between melody and aggression, and they sound as fresh today as they did on their debut.
