Super Furry Animals announce 2015 UK tour dates and deluxe 'Mwng' reissue (dates, streams)

After teasing us with a few videos, Super Furry Animals officially confirm they’re back in action, announcing a few UK tour dates for May. Those are listed below and let’s hope for North American dates sooner than later. They haven’t played here in six years.

The other news on the SFA front is they’re reissuing their long-out-of print fourth album, Mwng, via Domino on May 5. Originally released in 2000, it’s the Furries’ only full length sung entirely in Welsh — the title translates to “Mane” — and remains the biggest-selling Welsh album in UK chart history (and, therefore, probably the world). Despite the scarcity of vowels, there are no shortage of great, catchy songs and it’s one of SFA’s best albums (it’s my second favorite, next to Radiator). The deluxe edition vinyl is on three discs, containing the Mwng Batch bonus disc that came with the original US edition of the CD, plus a previously unreleased Peel session from the time and full live set recorded at ATP.
