Supergrass played their first show in nine years (pics, setlist, video)
Britpop greats Supergrass just played their first show in nine years, headlining the Pilton Party, an all-day event hosted by Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis as a thank you to the Glastonbury staff and residents of the nearby area. The night’s “Mystery Guests,” Supergrass played against their Man from U.N.C.L.E-meets-Charlie’s Angels “world” logo, for a set filled with favorites, including “Caught by the Fuzz,””Alright,” “Richard III,” “Late in the Day,” “Pumping on Your Stereo,” “Sun Hits the Sky,” “Moving” (which was released as a single 20 years ago today), and more.
