Surfer Blood played a secret show @ Cake Shop (pics)

As strongly hinted, Surfer Blood was in fact the secret band at the struggling Cake Shop Thursday night. They opened for Death Cab For Cutie earlier in the night at Wellmont Theater in NJ, and then shared a bill with Grand Rapids at the much smaller basement club in Manhattan.
