Suuns touring with Disappears’ Brian Case, add second Saint Vitus show
That one-off show Montreal’s Suuns are playing at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus on Saturday, February 11 has turned into three-city East Coast tour with Disappears frontman Brian Case opening. It has also turned into two Saint Vitus shows, as the original sold out so they’ve added a late show the same night. Tickets for the late show are on sale. They’ll also play Cambridge, MA and Philadelphia on the tour. There are Canadian dates in March as well. All are listed below.
Brian Case released an electronic dark/ambient album, Tense Nature, back in June and you can stream that below. In other news, Case and fellow Disappears members Jonathan van Herik and Noah Leger have formed a new group called FACS whose debut show will be opening for Joan of Arc in Chicago at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel on January 21 (tickets). Disappears bassist Damon Carruesco, meanwhile, is making dark ambient music as Tüth. No word on what the state of Disappears is, currently. They toured in 2015 playing a set of almost entirely new music.
