Swet Shop Boys share "Zayn Malik" video, playing Webster Hall before Coachella

The powerful, politically charged rap duo Swet Shop Boys (aka former Das Racist member Heems and actor/rapper Riz Ahmed) continue to rise in the world. Towards the end of last year, they sold out two small NYC shows and now they just announced a much larger one. It happens right before they head to Coachella, on April 12 at Webster Hall (the Grand Ballroom). Tickets for that show go on sale Thursday (1/26) at 10 AM.

Swet Shop Boys released their very good debut album Cashmere last year, and today they released a video for its song “Zayn Malik.” The video was directed by Broken Antenna, and the duo is calling it “a celebration of British Asian culture.” It (sadly) arrives at good time for American citizens too.
