Syd of The Internet announces first solo tour

Earlier this year, The Internet singer Syd released her excellent solo album Fin, which is a move from The Internet’s warm neo-soul towards metallic R&B. The Internet members went on a tour earlier this year, where they all played their own solo material backed by the other members of the band, but now Syd has announced her first proper solo tour.

The tour includes a NYC show on October 9 at Irving Plaza. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (8/25) at 10 AM with a Live Nation presale starting Thursday (8/24) at 10 AM.

The tour also hits Tyler the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in LA, which includes both Syd solo and a set from The Internet. All Syd dates are listed below.

Syd has been staying active in the studio since the release of Fin too. She’s made some notable guest appearances this year, and she just dropped a new single “Bad Dream/No Looking Back” this week. Listen below:
