Drive Like Jehu @ Fun Fun Fun Fest - 11/6/2015
Despite many troubles, ATP festivals still exist and another one was just announced:
ATP Festival is excited to reveal their latest curators for All Tomorrow's Parties 2.0, seminal San Diego band Drive Like Jehu. Performing in the UK for the first time since 1994, Drive Like Jehu will be headlining the 2016 weekender as well as hand-picking the festival line-up. The first wave of artists performing alongside Drive Like Jehu will be revealed in the coming weeks.Meanwhile, Drive Like Jehu were interviewed for the 217th episode of Kreative Kontrol, a podcast you can listen to HERE, and they played a set at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin on Friday. Pictures from that are in this post and continue below...
All Tomorrow's Parties 2.0 Curated by Drive Like Jehu, held at Pontins in Prestatyn, will take place on 22nd, 23rd and 24th April 2016 for ATP Festival's second consecutive holiday camp weekender, following on from All Tomorrow's Parties 2.0 Curated by Stewart Lee (15/16/17th April 2016).
ATP's Barry Hogan adds "Jehu were undoubtedly one of my favourite performances at ATP Iceland this summer, and we couldn't pass up an opportunity to have them curate and headline ATP in what will be one of their first UK performances in over 20 years"

Grizzly Bear at Lollapalooza 2013
Back in April, Grizzly Bear postponed their ATP UK, which would have gone down in May the day after the Yeah Yeah Yeahs-curated day. The new date was supposed to happen this November, but now it's been cancelled all together. Clash reports:
Set to take place on November 2nd, the event will not now go ahead. A notice on WeGotTickets explains that tickets are 'NO LONGER AVAILABLE' while fans recently received the following notice from the ticketing agency:Meanwhile, anotherA ATP UK goes down in November/December with sets from the reunited Slint, Loop, Mogwai, Superchunk, and more. Tickets for that one are still available.

Please note that IBYM November date has been cancelled. The organisers of this event would like to pass along to following message:
"ATP and Grizzly Bear have sadly decided to cancel the planned I'll Be Your Mirror London concert which had been postponed to November. Unfortunately there were problems with the venue and new date. Between us as promoters and the band it's been decided that it would be wiser to cancel rather than disappoint fans by going ahead with an event that was not up to ATP and the band's standards."
We will partially refund you for these tickets. The refund will appear on the card originally used for payment within 3-5 working days.
Post-hardcore-leaning post-rock legends Slint haven't performed live in six years, but that will change this year when they play ATP End of An Era Part 2 at Pontins Holiday Camp in Camber Sands, UK. The festival runs from November 29 to December 1, and is being billed as the "last ever" UK Holiday Camp.
As mentioned, this year's festival is being co-curated by Loop, who are also performing, along with Mogwai, The Pop Group, Fennesz, Goat, Superchunk, Comets On Fire, Om, Girls Against Boys, Michael Rother (presents the music of Neu! and Harmonia), Ty Segall, Dirty Beaches, Hookworms, Balam Acab and more. Tickets for the fest are on sale now.
