Across Tundras

Southern blues-y riffs permeate through Across Tundras' work, and though the band isn't afraid to let loose an earth shaking riff, it'd be a mistake to lump them in with the doom sound that is so prevalent in the region. Across Tundras' roots lie in swampy and twangy Americana and dip into high-volume psychedelic riffery, not the other way around; a method that is showcased on the Nashville band's new LP Sage. Check out the slow burner "Hijo de Desierto", from the band's Neurot debut (due 5/17). Download it above. Stream it below. Fans of country-inflected and 60s/70s psychedelic rock, and recent output from bands like Grails & Royal Thunder, take note.

The notoriously hard-touring band will take the show on the road following the release of the LP, hitting up dates on the East Coast through early June that will include 5/27 at Union Pool with Ominous Black. All tour dates, the song stream and some video is below.

Sadly, due to the death of someone very dear in one of our families (and by extension, the Goes Cube family as a whole), Goes Cube will be unable to play our show with Cable and Liturgy on 12/3 at Fontanas...

We apologize for having to cancel and appreciate your understanding. We have some big news coming up, and we DO have another FREE show on 12/18 (at Spike Hill in Williamsburg with some other great bands). Please stay tuned, stay in touch, and be well. -David, Kenny, and Matt.
Best to you and your family, Goes Cube. Cable and Liturgy will still be a-rockin' TONIGHT (12/3) at Fontana's though, joined by the newly added Sea of Bones. The FREE show will feature some FREE suds as well, and will double as a party for the black metal documentary Until The Light Takes Us, which also just had a party at Knitting Factory, and which drops (into theaters) Friday (12/4).

Sea of Bones released The Harvest independently, as in by themselves... for free download, earlier this year. Check out that LP above. The band also recently played with Across Tundras, Monolith, and Bubonic Bear at Mill Creek Tavern in Philadelphia on 11/25 and Union Pool on 11/26 with Gwynbleidd as part of AT's previously discussed east coast tour. If you missed Gwynbleidd, catch them Fontana's on Sat (12/5) fri with B.I.T.E. and Rattling Cages.

More pictures from the Philly show are below...

Nashville's Across Tundras are hitting the road for a short burst of dates at the end of November, including NYC at Union Pool on 11/27 (Black Friday) with Sea of Bones and Gwynbleidd.

Recently relocated from Denver, Colorado to Nashville, Tennessee ACROSS TUNDRAS have realized a long-evolving sound that merges elements of doom and drone with psychedelic rock, folk and traditional Americana. This unique sound brings an interesting country twang to heavy music, conjuring images of the strange waters between EARTH, NEIL YOUNG, BLACK SABBATH, WOODY GUTHRIE and NEUROSIS.
The show will do double duty; as a coming out party for Herds of Fathomless Valleys (a collection of demos and live tracks released earlier this year and available for download above) and as a celebration for Old World Wanderer, their new LP due on Robotic Empire.

Prog metallers Gwynbleidd recently released their new LP, Nostalgia.

The "Herds of Fathomless Valleys" tracklist and all dates, below...
