FaltyDL (aka NYC producer Drew Lustman) released his third full length album, Hardcourage, last week/month (1/22) via Ninja Tune. For the most part, he's ditched the darker, harder edged UK bass of his last album, in favor of a brighter, wider sound that works great with the album's cover art (above). Friendly Fires' Ed Macfarlane lends his vocals to the track "She Sleeps," and though the rest of the album tends to stay away from vocals, it still packs plenty of other pop moments. You can stream the album in its entirety HERE and watch the video for album single, "Straight & Arrow," below.
FaltyDL just played a Mister Saturday Night party in NYC last week, and he'll play another local show TONIGHT (2/1) at Cameo Gallery with the impressive UK producer Addison Groove and Max Pearl. Tickets for tonight's show are available.

UK producer Anthony Williams, who has previously recorded as Headhunter, released his debut LP under his new Addison Groove moniker earlier this month on Modeselektor's 50 Weapons label. The album is called Transistor Rhythm and puts Addison Groove next in the recent line of producers bringing Chicago juke and footwork into the UK bass scene. Stream clips of the album below alongside full streams of the tracks "Savage Henry" and "Bad Things."
Addison Groove just kicked off a North American tour in support of the album with fellow UK producer/50 Weapons labelmate Doc Daneeka last night (4/25) in Boston. The two producers will make their way to NYC this weekend for a Brooklyn show on Saturday (4/28) at Glasslands with Jubilee. Tickets for the Brooklyn show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
Speaking of Modeselektor, they just played NYC shows of their own at Bowery and Music Hall as part of a between-Coachella tour that ended back at Coachella where they were joined on stage by Thom Yorke.
