Music fans claim that both Fashion Week and Advertising Week are more importantly about the parties, and figuring out how to get into them. Drake, B.o.B., Natasha Bedingfield and Far East Movement play the "MySpace AMP'd Up Opening Concert" for Advertising week tonight (10/3). Tuesday is the "SAY Media Battle of the Ad Bands" at Highline Ballroom (where bands compete for the chance to sell out) (or something like that). TV on the Radio play Microsoft Live! at Terminal 5 on Wednesday.

Advertising Week is excited to partner with Microsoft Advertising to bring you THE party of The Week. Fresh off their summer European Festival headlining tour, the grammy nominated band will be coming home for a one night only performance at the Angel Oresanaz Foundation, bringing their high energy mix of electro/punk/disco to the stage. This party is by invite/ticket only.

I think this will be LCD Soundsystem's first NYC show (if private shows count) since the run at Terminal 5, though they just played Wellmont Theater in NJ the other day.

LCD's current tour brings them to Boston tonight (9/28), and also had them in Philly over the weekend (a post about that show coming shortly).

Advertising Week runs through Friday.
