This Labor Day weekend, San Bernardino, CA will host the 20th annual Nocturnal Wonderland festival at the San Manuel Amphitheater & grounds. The mostly-EDM festival has some cool stuff like Duke Dumont, Flosstradamus, Tensnake, Kiesza, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Booka Shade, L-Vis 1990, Eats Everything and Paper Diamond, alongside bigger names like Armin Van Buuren, Bassnectar, Afrojack, David Guetta, Pretty Lights and more. Full lineup below. Tickets are still available.
Like at Outside Lands and Lollapalooza last month, BrooklynVegan will be repping inside the festival grounds, in the Toyota Tent. Stop by to check out intimate, bonus sets by artists playing the festival, including Tensnake (8pm Sunday) and L-Vis 1990 (7pm Sunday). Say hi to our host and house DJ Jamie Granato aka Rezound, design your own hula hoop, check out live art installations and more.
A few days after the festival, Kiesza will make her way to NYC where she'll play Best Buy Theater on September 8... with Nick Jonas. Maybe it seems weird to see a pop singer who's on the "indie" side play with a former boy-bander, but maybe Nick Jonas is heading in that direction too. He just hit the studio with Purity Ring's Corin Roddick. (And come on, you know you're a sucker for the Tinashe-featuring "Jealous" remix.) Will he be the next Timberlake? Or at least the next Miley? The NYC show also includes American Authors, Shawn Mendes and Timeflies.

Long Island's Nikon at Jones Beach Theater will play host to pop music festival Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival on August 22-23 (making that a busy weekend with Brooklyn's Afropunk festival). You probably don't care that Justin Bieber is playing, but depending on how much of a poptimist you are, it's potentially interesting that they have The Weeknd, Skrillex, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, iLoveMakonnen, Fetty Wap, Kiesza and Santigold. Plus underground rappers Main Attrakionz and, weirdly enough, indie-dance bands Holy Ghost! and The Faint. Tickets go on sale Thursday (7/16) at 10 AM with a Citi presale starting Monday (7/13) at 9 AM. Full lineup (with one more TBA) below.
The fest is a week before Fetty Wap returns to the venue to open for Chris Brown (sigh), and about a month after Nicki Minaj's big Barclays Center show with Meek Mill, Rae Sremmurd, Tinashe and DeJ Loaf.
Jose James is playing solo acoustic shows at Rockwood Music Hall on December 3 & 4. Tickets are on sale now.
OK Go are playing Terminal 5 on April 11. Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale today at noon with a general on-sale starting Friday (11/7) at noon.
This year's 'VH1 You Oughta Know' concert happens November 13 at Hammerstein Ballroom with Chvrches, A Great Big World, American Authors, Aloe Blacc, Bleachers, Sam Smith, Tove Lo, Vance Joy, Echosmith and Mary Lambert. To gain admission, you have to enter the ticket lottery.
Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are playing Radio City on June 19, 20 & 22 in support of their collaborative jazz album. Tickets for night 3 are on fan club/VIP/Citi presales now and go on sale to the general public Friday (11/7) at 9 AM. The other two are on sale now.
