Lucinda Williams and Amos Lee will team up for a string of East Coast dates including a pair in the NYC area on 7/20 at Wellmont Theatre and 7/21 at Beacon Theater. Tickets for Beacon Theater and Wellmont Theatre are currently on Fan presale, and go on AmEx presale at noon today followed by regular sale on Friday.
Both Lucinda Williams and Amos Lee have a bunch of other dates on their tour schedule as well, and Williams is celebrating the release of her recently birthed new LP Blessed, which is streaming in full at her website. She also recently dropped the "Live at SXSW" EP, which is available now via iTunes.

"An exciting mix of folk music's founding voices and modern favorites highlights the 52nd edition of the Newport Folk Festival® when it returns to Newport's Fort Adams State Park July 30-31, it was announced today by the Newport Festivals Foundation, the recently-formed 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which produces the event.This year's lineup will bring lots of great artists to Rhode Island in July. The Decemberists (who play Brooklyn 1.5 months earlier), Gillian Welch, Tegan & Sara, Delta Spirit, Mavis Staples, Wanda Jackson, Emmylou Harris, M Ward, Elvis Costello, Middle Brother (proof that the supergroup is not done yet) and even the PS22 chorus are on the list which you can see in full below...

Bonnaroo (June 9-12 in Manchester Tennessee) has announced the 2011 lineup (slightly early), and like the rumored Lollapalooza lineup, Eminem is among the headliners. Bonnaroo also has Grammy winners Arcade Fire and the Black Keys, in addition to Lil Wayne, Mumford & Sons, the Strokes, The Decemberists, Florence & the Machine, Girl Talk, Beirut (haven't seen them in a while), and many more. Speaking of holiday radio shindigs, WFUV will host their sixth annual "Holiday Cheer" on 12/6 at the Concert Hall at the New York Society for Ethical Culture. Amos Lee, Punch Brothers, The Secret Sisters, and Citizen Cope are all on board in this go around and tickets will range you $500 - $45 depending on your choice to VIP pre-party or not.

San Francisco's Outside Lands Festival 2010 takes place in Golden Gate Park from August 14th-15th. Headlining acts for the fest include Kings of Leon, Furthur featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, The Strokes, My Morning Jacket, Phoenix, Social Distortion, Levon Helm and Al Green. Other acts include Nas & Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, The Budos Band, Dawes, Gogol Bordello, Cat Power Janelle Monáe and Tokyo Police Club. The full lineup (which will be added to) is below.
Two-day passes go on sale Tuesday, June 2nd at 1pm EST. Single day tickets go on sale Sunday, June 6th.

The "Share the Warmth" Benefit Concert -with performances by; Amos Lee, Patterson Hood (of Drive-By Truckers) and Erin McKeown supported the UN Refugee Agency's (UNHCR) efforts in providing urgently needed relief aid to thousands of Afghan families facing a harsh winter.
