The Body performed with the Assembly of Light choir at Le Poisson Rouge early Saturday night (6/25). The band and choir alternated playing short sets, but also collaborated on songs like "Even The Saints Knew Their Hour Of Failure And Loss" which features a choir on record. You can check-out an example of The Body WITH the choir in the video below.
Work/Death opened the evening at LPR and the show was out by 9:20PM. The Indian/Bloodiest show at Union Pool saw multiple attendees that fit both in on one night, including photographer Greg Cristman whose Body shots continue below...

The Body at the BV/Profound Lore Day Show (more by Samantha Marble)

The Body will bring their 2010 favorite All the Waters of the Earth Turn to Blood to life at Le Poisson Rouge on June 25th when the band will play the venue as part of a seated event with the Assembly of Light Women's Choir! Tickets are on sale.
In related news, a few copies are still available of The Body's tour-only split with Whitehorse that the band sold on their recent trek together post-SXSW. That tour hit Acheron on April 1st with Bad Dream which was the same day we posted an interview with Pete of Whitehorse about his new LP Progression, which is out now on CD.
