Last week I heard Feist playing in Starbucks. This week NPR reviewed her album.

The Tofu Hut interviewed Feist, and asked her what music she likes. She suggested some. The Tofu Hut posted the MP3s.

Feist highly recommends fellow Broken Social Scenester Jason Collett‘s lastest solo album (that she also guests on). I’ve probably listened to it about 20 times. The track (“Hangover Days”) with Emily Haines from Metric stands out (listen here), and I like it, but sixeyes REALLY likes it.

For the Records was at the Feist/Apostle of Hustle Canada Day show earlier this week in Toronto. Chromewaves was there too. Who was at the Apostle of Hustle show at Mercury Lounge? I heeard Dr. Dog stole the show (the same Dr. Dog playing with CYHSY @ Southpaw & with Son Volt @ South Street Seaport).
