Free-form psychedelia is king for guitarist Tom Carter (of Charalambides) & steel guitarist Marc Orleans (of Sunburned Hand Of The Man, Juneau, D. Charles Speer and the Helix, etc), who have teamed up to form a new project entitled Eleven-Twenty-Nine. The long time collaborators are currently working on a new LP, slated for release on February 22, 2011 for their new label, Northern-Spy Records. Eleven Twenty-Nine recently played the Bell House with Bardo Pond and Bar Matchless on 12/6, but they have another NYC area date in the near future as well: 12/17 at Silent Barn. Full Tom Carter dates are below, which include solo shows at Zebulon on 12/29 and The Stone on 3/1 (which is the only March date we previously listed as part of Lou Reed & Laurie Anderson's month, though it's not clear if the show actually falls into what they curated since they are February).
Eleven Twenty-Nine plan to hit the Northeast on a larger scale in February to support of the new LP. We'll keep our eyes out for those dates, but until then, check out all Tom Carter dates and some video below.
