Ghostface Killah and DOOM have released a new DOOMSTARKS song, "Lively Hood," as part of the Adult Swim Singles Club. You can stream or download it below. The song will also be released as a 7" single via DOOM's Gasdrawls and Metalface/Nature Sounds.
Ghostface and DOOM claim they will released the much-delayed/anticipated DOOMSTARKS album this year. They will perform together at the III Points Festival in Miami (October 9-11) though it will be Ghostface in person while DOOM is coming from "the other side of time" and will be "transported Star Trek-style directly onto the III Points Festival stage." What exactly that means, we shall see.
The III Points Festival also features performances by Nicolas Jaar, Panda Bear, Run the Jewels, The Field, King Krule, Warpaint, Toro Y Moi, AlunaGeorge, Empress Of and lots more. Full lineup is listed below.
LA producer Kastle has some tour dates coming up this year, including appearances in Austin for SXSW and The Do LaB stage at Coachella. He was last in NYC for the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival, and he'll return to the area for a different kind of electronic music festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, which goes down on May 24 and 25 at Metlife Stadium. In addition to Kastle, the lineup features AraabMuzik, Rudimental, Skream, Claude Vonstroke, MK, Boys Noize, Calvin Harris and more. Tickets are on sale now. Full lineup below.
Kastle also plays a FREE NYC show sooner than that on April 5 at Slake (251 W. 30th St) with Druid Cloak, Figgy, Alex English and guests. As long as you RSVP, entry is free until midnight. Show flyer for that show, and the list of all tour dates, below...
