Democrats gather in Prospect Park tomorrow

“As President Bush accepts the nomination at the Republican National Convention tomorrow night, Brooklyn Democrats will peacefully show their opposition at a candlelight vigil in Prospect Park.

Cohen said participants will begin gathering at the park’s bandshell at 8:15 p.m. Borough President Marty Markowitz and other elected Democrats are scheduled to make brief speeches beginning at 8:45 p.m.”
