The Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival is just around the corner, with a kickoff show tonight (11/7) and then starting in full this weekend, and the set times for the festival have just been released. Head HERE to check out the full, interactive schedule, where you can make your own personal schedule and also share it with others. You'll notice a couple things were switched too, like Pete Tong's show moving from 285 Kent to Music Hall of Williamsburg and Actress in turn moving from MHOW to 285.
Tonight's kickoff show starts at 10 PM at Output with Skream, MK, Oneman, and more. The rest of the festival continues from Friday (11/8) to Sunday (11/10) across multiple Brooklyn venues with sets from Evian Christ, Lunice, Actress, Oneohtrix Point Never, Kastle, xxxy and many more.
There's also been a few lineup changes: Todd Terje had to drop off due to a family emergency, and Letherette and Andre Bratten can no longer make it due to visa issues.
As discussed, the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival is returning to Brooklyn venues Music Hall of Williamsburg, Glasslands, 285 Kent, Cameo, Villain, and Output from November 8-10 with sets from Evian Christ, Todd Terje, Lunice, Kastle, Skream, xxxy, and many more. Since we last spoke, there's been a few additions like Oneohtrix Point Never (who also plays MoMA PS1 soon) and Actress. Daily room lineups have also been announced and individual tickets are available for each show, including the pre-party on Thursday, 11/7. 3-Day passes are also still available.

Little Boots at Webster Hall - 12/14/12 (via)
Little Boots came to NYC for a Girls & Boys party at Webster Hall last month/year (pictured above) and
she'll return to the venue on January 25 for another Girls & Boys party but this one is a tribute to Daft Punk and Tron-themed party. It takes place in all there rooms of Webster Hall that feature Doorly, Sean Sharp, Jess Marquis, Matty Glitterati, and more. Doors are at 10PM and admission is 19+. Tickets (including VIP and party packages) are on sale now. Show flyer below.
UPDATE: Webster Hall's website had Little Boots on the event page for the Daft Punk tribute party, but it was a mistake. She's currently on vacation. Come back soon, Little Boots!
Speaking of Daft Punk, Chic member and major pop producer Nile Rodgers, who is working with the duo on their new album, recently posted a blog post which sounds pretty promising that Daft Punk will have their new album out in 2013 (via NME):
The next time I set foot in Japan, my collaboration with Daft Punk would have started to hit people's eardrums, as well as a number of songs I'm working on over the next few months with a select group of artists, and of course finally, my lost CHIC and solo material. No matter how it ends, 2013 Won't Be Boring!Bestival organizer Rob da Bank says not to expect them to tour though.

Little Boots, who back in 2008, made everybody want one of those Tenori-on light-up sequencers, is finally ready to put out LP #2 which will come out sometime in 2013. The record still doesn't have a title (or she hasn't told anybody what it is) but recently told This is Fake DIY about it:
I have spent a lot more time and care on the songs and production, it definitely feels more representative of me of an artist, at least now in 2012. It's less 80s synth pop influenced, it's quite an upbeat album, which I think has stemmed from the fact I have been DJing a lot, and listening to a lot of dance music. If you don't want to wait till next year to hear some new Little Boots, she's playing NYC tonight (12/14) as part of the Girls & Boys party at Webster Hall. It's the Big Apple debut of her new all new club show, Little Boots Discotheque, which is "LB old and new, remixed and re-charged with live vocals, extra gadgets and synth goodness, ushering in a new era of dancefloor devotion." Tickets are still available.
Flyer for tonight's show, that also features Doorly, is below.

DJ Shadow @ the Great Escape
Instrumental hip hop guru DJ Shadow is set to release his first LP in five years The Less You Know, The Better on September 5. He released the single "I Gotta Rokk" back in May. Check out the video for that track below.
DJ Shadow performed at Glastonbury this past weekend. According to @RadioRassilon, "DJ Shadow in the John peel tent at #Glastonbury - mind boggling. I'm boggled. Boggled flat." We don't have pictures from his set there but we did catch at the Great Escape, also in the UK, in May. As previously seen on the BV Facebook, pictures from that one are in this post.
Those fests were some of many performances Shadow has/had lined up this summer, which is largely being occupied by the touring electronic festival, IDentity Festival in August and early September. IDentity will be headlined by Kaskade, Steve Aoki (who was spotted at the Gay Pride Parade on Sunday), and Steve Lawler. It also includes live sets by Holy Ghost!, Hercules and Love Affair, and Modeselektor. It hits PNC Bank Arts Center in Jersey on 8/14 and Jones Beach in Long Island on 8/21. Tickets are on sale for both.

Rusko @ Electric Zoo 2010 (more by Andrew St. Clair)
Get ready to dance. DJ's Rusko and Doorly are heading out on a North American tour together in April and March, hitting Terminal 5 in NYC on April 27th along the way. Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale Wednesday at noon, and general sale begins on Friday.
The show, and maybe even the tour, is sponsored by HARD, so not surprisingly Destructo's name is also on the Terminal 5 bill, just like it is for the March 18th (Crystal Castles) & 19th (Simian Mobile Disco) HARD shows at the same venue.
Rusko is also on the now-fully-announced lineup of Ultra Music Festival which is happening in Miami in March. He plays the same day as the Klaxons whose March and April tour is now also fully announced.
All Rusko dates and a video below...
