First Frontline Assembly, and now Einstürzende Neubauten have cancelled their upcoming tour:
It is with great regret that Einstürzende Neubauten announce the cancellation of their planned thirtieth anniversary appearances in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto and New York. While the US Department of Homeland Security did issue approvals for the band's visas, it was not done in time to secure the appointments at the overseas embassies and consulates that represent the necessary final step in the process.Damn.
The band members are tremendously disappointed by this turn of events and wish to thank all those fans who purchased tickets for these performances for their support. The band would have loved to do the tour and meet their overseas fans. Because this tour was a time-sensitive production, it will not be rescheduled. Ticketholders can obtain refunds from their point of purchase.

"Metropolis recording artists FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY (FLA) are gearing up for a national tour, their first since 2007, to promote their critically-hailed new album IMPROVISED. ELECTRONIC. DEVICE. "We always look forward to a US tour," says keyboardist Jeremy Inkel. "We consider North America our homeland, so to us, it's very important to represent ourselves as best as we can. In consideration, all our musical aspiration's were born over here, this is where we got our start." Kicking off in Seattle, WA on October 31st, FLA will be circling around the continent with ANGELSPIT, Raggedy Angry and Unter Null supporting. "We're quite excited [to tour]," adds keyboardist/vocalist Bill Leeb. "We feel we have grown as a band over the last four years. We really feel this new album will sound great live and can't wait to get out there and be creative with it!"
