The previously discussed Shiner show with Errortype:11, that was set to happen at Irving Plaza, has been moved to the Gramercy Theater (8/11). Tickets for the show are still available or you can roll the dice and try to win a pair, AND with a vinyl copy of the recently reissued Shiner LP The Egg! Details on how to enter are below.

The lineup for the Gramercy Theater show has since been expanded, and now includes Brooklyn's Census. Census wade in the waters spilled by shoegazey 4AD forefathers and the pre-shaven head Billy Corgan on recent demo tracks. The band, which shares a member but not an aesthetic with Cults, has spent a few nights supporting names like The Growlers and The Young in the recent past. Primitive Weapons at Saint Vitus, March 2012 (more by Samantha Marble)

Primitive Weapons will hit the road with noise-core duo Mares of Thrace (who recently played NYC) and Providence doomers Pilgrim (them too) for a string of US dates in August. The shows will include a NYC stop at Saint Vitus on August 3rd.

In related news, Errortype:11, who share members with Primitive Weapons, will bless Irving Plaza on August 11th as support for the Shiner reunion show. Tickets are still available.
