still from The Chemical Brothers' "Go" video
The Chemical Brothers' official new single from the upcoming Born in the Echoes LP is "Go," featuring their old pal Q-Tip who also was on their 2005 single "Galvanize." They've also reteamed with another old friend -- director Michel Gondry -- for the song's music video. (Gondry, you may remember, made the prismatic, mindbending "Let Forver Be," as well as the more subtle but no less fascinating "Star Guitar" video. Watch those below.) For the "Go" video, Gondry goes back to multiplicity with a group of clone-ish looking dancers connected together, marching around some quasi-futuristic corporate industrial complex. (It reminds me of The Apple for some reason, but it's not that good. Nothing is.) You can watch it below.
In other news, Chemical Brothers will headline the 2015 edition of NYC's Electric Zoo Festival which has been...Transformed! Meaning it's now officially called Electric Zoo: Transformed. They're "planning a new site layout, new stage designs, and much more." It's happening at Randall's Island over Labor Day Weekend (September 4-6). The other announced headliners are Alesso and Above & Beyond, and Cashmere Cat, The Glitch Mob, Gramatik, Zeds Dead and a few more artists are confirmed, with many more TBA. Tickets are on sale.
Updated Chemical Brothers tour dates are listed, along with those videos, below...

FIDLAR at Bowery Ballroom in 2013 (more by Harriet Roberts)
Browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight's shows. Here are some highlights...
Neutral Milk Hotel, Elf Power @ Webster Hall
After releasing one of the most classic indie albums of all time with In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, Neutral Milk Hotel pretty much disappeared with frontman Jeff Mangum choosing to remain mostly out of the public eye. A few years ago, Mangum began touring again, but it wasn't until late 2013 that Neutral Milk Hotel returned to the road. Their reunion tour finally comes to NYC this week and this is the fourth of five shows here.
Young Widows, Phantom Halo Band @ Saint Vitus
Though Young Widows have only been around since 2006 and only have three LPs under their belts, they already feel like something of an institution -- noisy rock music is becoming increasingly popular, and their ventures into the field have been as strong as anyone's. This is the second of the band's two-night stand at Vitus where they'll be playing their excellent second album, Old Wounds, in its entirety.
FIDLAR, Big Ups, Amanda X @ Baby's All Right
Cheap beer-fueled skate punk brats FIDLAR team up with local post-hardcore ragers Big Ups and punky Philly trio Amanda X for what should be a pretty fun show tonight.
Canadian Rifle, Crow Bait, The Pity Party, Outta Gas @ Death By Audio
Chicago punks Canadian Rifle are in town for this show which has great, likeminded support from Crow Bait (mems. Iron Chic), The Pity Party (ex-The Measure [sa]) and Outta Gas.
Reverend Horton Heat, The Les Paul Trio, Anton Fig @ Iridium
In the world of surf-rock, the Rev is a lengend, bringing a crazed twang to his raucous instrumentals and psychobilly freakouts.
Waka Flocka Flame @ B.B. King's
Go hard in da paint with Waka Flocka at BB King's tonight.
Bella Union US launch party @ The Bedford
Bella Union up to this point has been a UK label but has just set up a US outpost that will be the official American home for Snowbird, I Break Horses, Lanterns on the Lake and more. Tonight's the launch party for their new US branch and will have label head (and former Cocteau Twins bassist) Simon Raymonde DJing.
Gramatik, Exmag, Branx, Gibbz @ Output
Dance producer Gramatik just played Best Buy Theater with TOKiMONSTA, and tonight he's at the more genre-specific club Output.
Night Train w/ guest host Sheng Wang @ Littlefield
Normally Wyatt Cenac hosts this weekly comedy show, but tonight Sheng Wang is taking over, and this week's guest include Hari Kondabolu, Nick Turner, Jim Tews, Adam Lowitt, Subhah Agarwal, and Chris Lamberth.
For all of tonight's shows, and tomorrow's, check out our full NYC show calendar.

Camp Bisco is known for a long history of booking jam bands and dance music, but has branched out in recent years. This year's lineup has an especially interesting slew of non-jam. The festival goes down from July 11 to 13 at the Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, NY and features Passion Pit, Animal Collective, Toro y Moi, El-P, Killer Mike, Baauer, Dan Deacon, Com Truise, Ryan Hemsworth, Flosstradamus, Bear Mountain, Free Energy, RL Grime, VHS or Beta, and others, including of course The Disco Biscuits, who run the festival.

Back in May, drill & bass master Squarepusher announced a North American tour which included a TBA NYC show set to happen on October 30. Well it turns out the NYC show will actually be on November 1 and it happens at Terminal 5 with a great list of openers; Bonobo (DJ), Holy Fuck, and Mount Kimbie. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (6/29) at noon with an AmEx presale starting today (6/27) at noon. All Squarepusher dates are listed below.
Squarepusher released his new album, Ufabulum, in May and it's a pretty solid one. It opens with "4001," which is just about the only song that sounds like classic Squarepusher, and is then followed by, "Unreal Square," which brings in a bit of brostep bass wobble. The rest of the album sees Squarepusher diving into nutty jazz fusion and unstoppable breakbeats. You can stream three of its tracks below.
Speaking of Mount Kimbie, they've signed to Warp, the label which Squarepusher also calls home, and currently at work on their second album which will be released on the label. The Terminal 5 show appears to be their only announced North American date at the moment.
Holy Fuck and Bonobo will be in NY even sooner for Camp Bisco, which goes down from July 12-14 at Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, NY. They'll be joining a lineup which includes Tycho, Simian Mobile Disco, Skrillex, Amon Tobin ISAM, Big Boi, Crystal Castles, Yacht, Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire, Shigeto, FaltyDL, Thundercat, and more. Tickets for the festival are still available. The full lineup is listed below.
In related news, You can also catch Holy Fuck frontman Brian Borcherdt in NYC right after Bisco with his new project, Dusted, who play Glasslands on July 15. Tickets for that show are still available.
