ATP Asbury Park ("I'll Be Your Mirror") has released the second wave of artist announcements including many of Portishead's choices for the bill! We already knew about Jeff Mangum, Bonnie Prince Billy, Shellac, Chavez and more. New additions include, not surprisingly, Portishead-related acts Anika and Beak> (and this time Anika will be performing live and not just DJing). There's also now a rare reunion of The Pop Group, an Ultramagnetic MC's reunion (WITH Kool Keith), Silver Qluster (Simeon of Silver Apples and Hans-Joachim Roedelius of Cluster/Harmonia), Thee Siliver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra, Mogwai, Earth, The Horrors and more. The full list is below.

Jeff Mangum also just announced a slew of other shows aside from ATP Asbury Park, including a UK ATP.

Hallogallo 2010 will feature the same lineup they did at Primavera. That is, Michael Rother will be joined by Steve Shelley from Sonic Youth and Aaron Mullan of Tall Firs. Together they will play music by NEU! as well as some tracks by Harmonia and from Michael Rother´s solo albums. Tickets are still on sale for the show happening tonight at Maxwell's.

Hallogallo 2010 will be in NYC for Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival on August 6th. Their other US shows currently include Philly, ATP NY, and Columbus, Ohio

...a very special live performance that is happening this weekend in New York City. One of the true pioneers of electronic music will be here, none other than Hans-Joachim Roedelius. As you know, Roedelius' work in Cluster and Harmonia is legendary, these two groups being hailed by everyone from David Bowie to Brian Eno, who would later record with these Krautrock giants and continue to collaborate with Roedelius. Roedelius will be performing in a duo with the pianist Alessandra Celletti. These two incendiary musicians are doing a small tour in support of their new Transparency Records release Sustanza di Cose Sperata, and if you buy a pair of advance tickets here at [Other Music] or at the door, Transparency will give you a free copy of the CD as well.

Harmonia is a Krautrock supergroup from Germany. They formed as a collaboration between Michael Rother of Neu! and Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Möbius of Cluster and later included British ambient music artist Brian Eno. [Wikipedia]
