Implants (Strung Out, Pulley, Face to Face) releasing 'The Olden Age' (stream)

Melodic punk supergroup Implants formed a few years back with vocalist Ken Conte (The Tank), guitarist Rob Ramos (Strung Out), guitarist Jim Blowers (Pulley), and drummer Chris Dalley (Ten Foot Pole, Voodoo Glow Skulls). They initially had Ten Foot Pole’s Chris Del Rio on bass, but these days their bassist is Face to Face/No Use for a Name‘s Matt Riddle. Their first release with Matt is the The Olden Age EP, which comes out this week (9/9) via Cyber Tracks, the label started by NOFX’s El Hefe and his wife Jennifer (pre-order). It was produced by go-to Fat Wreck Chords guy Ryan Greene, who was behind the boards for NOFX’s classic Punk In Drublic and countless Fat releases, and who is no stranger to members of Implants. If you like Implants’ related bands, or NOFX (who they’ve toured with), it’s worth checking out the new EP. An (almost) full stream premieres right here:

(The final track is a cover of Cheap Trick’s “Come On Come On,” and due to copyright reasons, that track cannot be uploaded to Soundcloud and it isn’t part of this playlist.)
