Into Another at Bowery Ballroom, Dec. 2012 (more by Fred Pessaro // BBG)

Reunited hardcore favorites Into Another headlined Saint Vitus late last year (after an appearance at Irving) and followed that up with dates in the Northeast that included Bowery Ballroom. Now comes word that the band will return to the scene of their smallest show, having confirmed a headlining appearance at Saint Vitus on April 26. Tickets are on sale. No word on support or if that Brooklyn date will expand into more.
Into Another @ Bowery Ballroom, 12/16/2012

Into Another played Bowery Ballroom last night (12/16), the last of a string of East Coast dates with Brooklyn's own Primitive Weapons. The short stint was IA's only dates scheduled for the US, save for their involvement in Chicago's Revelation Records party early next year. Tour dates are below, along with more pictures from Bowery Ballroom below.

Into Another at Rev 25, 10/14/2012 (photo by Rebecca Reed)

Between last night and Saturday, my Facebook feed lit up like a fucking Christmas tree with praise for reunited post-hardcore heroes Into Another. The NYC band headlined the final night of the Revelation Records 25th anniversary celebration at Irving Plaza last night (10/14) and if you missed that show or their headlining date at Saint Vitus on 10/13, you're in luck. Into Another have scheduled a new set of dates before the year is up, and all in the Northeast, including a stop at Bowery Ballroom on 12/16. Ticketing info is forthcoming.
If you missed either Into Another show this weekend, check them out this December but make sure to check out the video from Saint Vitus before you do. Tour flyer, video and dates are below.
If you missed them, pictures from night one of Rev25 are HERE and night two are HERE. Pics from Saturday and Sunday are on the way.

Sick of it All at Webster Hall, 2011 (more by Kurt Christensen)

Sick of it All have been added as the special guest at the Revelation 25 show on Friday (10/12) at Irving Plaza, joining on Chain of Strength, Mouthpiece, Damnation AD and the newly added Popeye. Tickets are still available.
In related news, Texas is The Reason play a sold-out show with States & Kingdoms at Music Hall of Williamsburg tonight (10/10) and will be at Rev25 on Thursday with Underdog, Shades Apart, Gameface, and On The Might Of Princes. Both shows are sold-out.
In other news, Project X and Curl Up and Die have dropped off the Revelation shows entirely. Check out flyers for all Revelation shows below.

The additional shows surrounding Revelation 25 (which now features Project X) have been popping up like mad, with announcements of On The Might of Princes and Texas is The Reason both recently surfacing. I wouldn't expect the bleeding to stop anytime soon, case and point: Into Another have added another NYC appearance, this time at Saint Vitus on October 13. Tickets are on sale for their first NYC appearance in 16 years(!).
So far no word on any additional dates for the reunited hardcore favorites, but until then check out live video of the band from their June reunion show below.
Youth of Today at Acheroon, January 2012 (more by Jason House)

The East Coast version of the Revelation Records 25 lineup officially exploded with the announcement of 8 new bands (!) to their lineup which happens October 11 - 14 at Irving Plaza in NYC. Joining the previously discussed Chain of Strength, Into Another, Bold and Texas is The Reason will be appearances from Youth of Today, Supertouch, Underdog, Iceburn, Battery, Shai Hulud, Gameface, and Mouthpiece. No word on who else will be in the lineup, or when we can expect tickets to surface but we'll keep you informed.
As discussed Quicksand is not in the lineup so far. But they also aren't in the House of Vans lineup either.
Flyers for Revelation Records 25 are below.
Revelation Records show triple confirmed (Texas is The Reason and Into Another playing too?) UPDATED

OFFICIAL flyers

The previously discussed dates (10/11 - 10/14) for the Revelation Records 25h Anniversary show have been confirmed publicly by the label who has now released a second flyer. The first was the one with the "X" that we posted about 6/17 (which went up on the Revelation site the next day) and now we have this second flyer which clearly points out the state of Texas. Can we look forward to Chain of Strength with Texas is The Reason? Seems alot more likely than Quicksand.
UPDATE: Looks like Into Another is on board, from the looks of the flyer below (that came from the Revelation Records website).

Quicksand reunited at Revelation 25 (via)

It seemed somewhat inevitable, but Quicksand (Walter Schreifels, Tom Capone, Alan Cage, Sergio Vega), split since 1999, reunited last night, Sunday, June 10th, as part of the Revelation 25th Anniversary Celebration, a weekend of shows in Pomona, California at the Glass House from June 7-10. The stellar festival lineup featured names that graced and help shape the label's storied history, names like Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today, Into Another, Supertouch, Bold, Sick of It All, No For An Answer, Sense Field, Statue, Ignite, In My Eyes, Kiss it Goodbye, Gameface and Shai Hulud. Quicksand were not on the bill, though they did advertise "special guest".
Check out video below of the reunited Quicksand performing "Fazer" "Dine Alone" Omission" and their set closer "How Soon is Now?", The Smiths classic that graced the B-Side of the "Dine Alone" single. (Does anyone have the full setlist?) While you're down there, don't miss video of Underdog, Into Another, Gorilla Biscuits and more.
What does this mean? Is this their only appearance? I'm betting that someone has Terminal 5 on hold for a week (though someone wrote on Wikipedia that " It will be a one-time only reunion"). Videos below...
