Irish band Dott releasing new EP (watch "Slow One" video), playing NYC shows
Galway, Ireland’s Dott are back with a new EP, Beverly Baldwin, which is out August 5 via Mirror Universe Tapes. Anna McCarthy and Evan O’Connor, who are Dott, made the EP in Toronto following their marriage last year, and those life events are reflected in the warm, happy/sad songs. Dott are in NYC to celebrate the release of the new EP, and they’ll be playing a few shows: Cake Shop on Friday, July 29 with Hallelujah the Hills, Woodsy Pride and P. Everett (tickets), and then The Gutter on August 6 which is a Mirror Universe Tapes showcase with gothy two-bass-and-drums trio DECORUM, and Post Lost ($5 at the door).
