[Ozzy] Osbourne started out his [headlining] set with "I Don't Know," "Mr. Crowley," and "Bark at the Moon." He sprayed the crowd with a fire hose throughout the night, dumped a bucket of water on his head twice and repeatedly asked the audience if they were having fun. "I can't f---ing hear you," he kept saying, smiling when the crowd responded with cheers. This was the 66-year-old's first solo performance in several years. The rain hit hard in New Orleans on Halloween, which made for a very soggy Day 2 of the 2015 Voodoo Fest, but spirits didn't seem to be too dampened as people enjoyed sets from Ozzy Ozbourne (with Geezer Butler, Slash and Tom Morello), Jane's Addiction, Babes in Toyland, Django Django, Peaches, Santigold, Public Image Limited, The Growlers and more. Pictures from Saturday are in this post, though unfortunately none of Ozzy's supergroup, but you can check out his setlist below.
"Iron Man" was a crowd favorite, with Morello, Slash and Butler joining Osbourne on the stage. Morello's guitar had a sign reading "Ozzy Rules"on the back with "Arm the Homeless" on the front.
Two Smurfs made out in the Loa VIP section, blue falling down their faces with the rain as Butler performed an impressive bass solo during "N.I.B." [BILLBOARD]
Over in the comparatively dry tent that was the Toyota Music Den (which was co-curated by us) there were performances and Q&As featuring Django Django, Babes in Toyland, and more..
The final day of Voodoo Fest (11/1) was canceled due to worsening weather (and tornado warnings), but there ended up being an all-star jam at New Orleans spot 30/90 on Sunday night featuring Dumpstaphunk, Fishbone, Lettuce, Ludlow Thieves and other Voodoo acts.
Pics from day 1 are HERE. More from Voodoo Fest's rainy Halloween and the Ozzy setlist, below...

Jane's Addiction are set to ring in the new year at Atlantic City's House of Blues tonight, and to warm up for that they came to NYC on Saturday (12/29) for a show at Terminal 5. They played a bit off of their late-period/reunion albums, but most of the set was split pretty evenly between the classic early albums with songs like "Mountain Song, "Jane Says," "Been Caught Stealing," and many others. During the set, Perry Farrell also brought out firefighters who aided in Hurricane Sandy recovery that he knew from his high school in Queens, where he grew up, and he gave a speech about being proud of the way New Yorkers handled the hurricane.
A video of Perry giving that speech after playing "Ted, Just Admit It...," plus some other videos, the setlist, and more pictures from the show below...
