Joe Jackson teamed up with Iggy Pop for a cover of Duke Ellington's "It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)," off Joe's upcoming Duke Ellington tribute album titled The Duke (out 6/26 via Razor & Tie). Check out a video of Joe and Iggy discussing that collaboration with some clips of the recording session below.

Radiohead, whose tour brought them to NJ for two Prudential Center shows two weeks ago, brings them back to NJ tonight for a Camden show at Susquehanna Bank Center.

The Northside Festival kicks off on Thursday (6/14) and the official BV showcase is on Friday (6/15) at MHOW with Caveman, Frankie Rose, Hume, and Fort Lean. We're giving away tickets to that on facebook.

Death Grips were supposed to play MHOW tonight but cancelled.

DOWNLOAD: Joe Jackson - I'm Beginning to See the Light (MP3)

Joe Jackson

Jazzy new wave icon and legendary piano man Joe Jackson releases his new album The Duke on June 24 via Razor & Tie. As the album title suggests, it's a tribute to Duke Ellington. You can download "I'm Beginning to See the Light" from it at the top of this post.

Jackson will be touring in support of the record, including two dates at Town Hall on September 21 and 22. Tickets for those shows go on sale TODAY, 5/11, at 11AM.

He also stops in Red Bank, NJ. All Joe Jackson tour dates are listed below.

Featuring Dutch lutenist Jozef Van Wissem and Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalists Robbie Lee and Che Chen, Heresy of the Free Spirit plays Van Wissem's arrangements of lute compositions and improvisations that draw on early music, folk traditions, modern composition and noise. This special performance will be in support of the trio's new LP A Prayer for Light and Van Wissem's new solo album The Joy That Never Ends, followed by a set from Paul Metzger, whose singular brand of solo banjo music is equally influenced by American primitive, Indian raga, and Middle Eastern tonality.
