Event coordinator Pushermania and Panache Booking are teaming up to present 'Screw York City,' a showcase in NYC of Texas rappers, which happens on April 10 at Santos Party House. The lineup features Doughbeezy (who we recently profiled on BV Austin), and some other heavy hitters like Killa Kyleon and League of Extraordinary G'z, in addition to World Wide, Lyric Michelle, Young B, and Grit Boys. The show is free with RSVP.

SXSW has just announced another round of bands for the 2013 edition of the annual music festival that will happen March 12 - 17. This brings the total current number of acts to around 1300.
