The Downtown Music Festival happens in two weeks (May 10 - 11) at NYC venues on or below Houston St. A few artists have been added to the fest's line-up: Nguzunguzu, Antwon, TEEN, Branchez, Mess Kid, Jade <3 & Blind Benny, Anais Mitchell, Crush Distance and Nire & Nani. Tickets (single day and two-day passes, and VIP passes) are still available.

The festival has also announced the daily line-ups, so we now know things like that Black Hippy and Fat Tony will be playing at Capitale on Friday night (5/10); Earl Sweatshirt, Ryan Hemsworth and Antwon will be at Element on Friday; and Ratking, Black Dave, Vashtie, Mr. Muthafuckin Exquire and Jade <3 & Blind Benny will be at Tammany Hall on Saturday night (5/11), to name a few. As mentioned, Downtown Records are taking their Downtown Music Festivals to different North American cities this year, including NYC from May 10 to 11 across various LES venues, including Mercury Lounge, Bowery Ballroom, Angel Orensanz Center, Pianos, Cake Shop, Tammany Hall, Element, Capitale, Rockwood Music Hall and more.

In addition to the previously announced lineup of Black HIppy (aka Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock), Purity Ring, Earl Sweatshirt, DIIV, Sky Ferreira, Trash Talk, Palma Violets, Teengirl Fantasy, and others; more acts have just been added. Those new acts include Andrewy Wyatt (of Miike Snow), Autre Ne Veut, Guards, Ryan Hemsworth, Port St. Willow, Kilo Kish, Ratking, Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire, Vashtie, Fat Tony, d'Eon and Kingdom (playing with Kelela, who sang a song on the Teengirl Fantasy album last year and sings a song on the new Kingdom EP this year, which you can listen to below).

2-Day passes for the festival have sold out, but single day tickets for May 10 and May 11 are still available. The day-by-day lineups have also been announced, and you can check those out below.

As mentioned, there's a weekly Thursday party called INPUT at new Williamsburg dance club Output (74 Wythe Ave by N. 12th St.) which has already had some good shows, and has another this week (3/21) with Bok Bok, Kingdom, Girl Unit, L-Vis 1990, MikeQ, Rizzla, and Kelela. They've just recently announced their April parties, and those are looking pretty good too.

On April 4, they've got DFA DJs Juan MacLean and Tim Sweeney, along with Dan Wender. Tickets for that one are on sale now.

Then on April 11, DJ Shadow will take over the venue for an All Basses Covered DJ set. Tickets are on sale.

The last announced INPUT party for April at the moment (they haven't announced a 4/25 show) is on April 18 with Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, and Pangaea. Tickets are on sale. And if you haven't already, check out Ben UFO's Fabriclive.67 mix.

And probably the biggest show to be announced at Output yet happens on August 1 when SBTRKT (who has headlined Terminal 5) DJs there. Tickets for that one are on sale now.

Bondax

UK production duo Bondax spent 2012 releasing a slew of impressive singles, and they kicked off 2013 with another new one, "Gold," a charming cut balancing future garage, deep house, and hip hop with guest lead vocals from Joe Janiak. Now director Sam Pilling has given the track an all-too-appropriate video treatment in a gold-covered clip which you can watch below. Also below is the video for their 2012 single, "Baby I Got That," a version of that single's b-side, "It's You," with Kilo Kish on vocals, and a Moon Boots remix of "Gold."

Bondax came to North America late last year, when they played Glasslands with Star Slinger, and they've just announced that they're returning for a tour in March which includes SXSW and hits NYC on March 18 at Santos Party House with Kidnap Kid and Rudimental (DJ). TIckets for that show are on sale now.

DIIV already revealed they'll be headlining the Captured Tracks CMJ show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Thursday (10/18) and will also play the KEXP CMJ day show at Union Square Ballroom on Thursday and also at Fader Fort (RSVP) that same day too, not to mention the Pitchfork party on Friday (10/19).

The band will also be the secret guest at the Life or Death PR CMJ show Saturday night (10/20) at 92YTribeca that also includes Twerps, Slug Guts, Mac DeMarco and more (though no 2nd secret guest as originally announced). $10 at the door, or get in with your CMJ badge. More info here.

Kilo Kish

As mentioned, NYC rapper Kilo Kish will be opening for SBTRKT at Terminal 5 on Thursday (10/11) with Koreless and Nick Hook (tickets). But you'll also have a couple chances to catch her in smaller venues about a week after that during CMJ. She's playing the Yours Tru.ly.Gorilla vs Bear (YTGvB) and Forest Family showcase at Brooklyn's 285 Kent on October 18 with DIANA (whose members include Destroyer saxophonist Joseph Shabason), Sam Flax (who we just profiled), Atlanta rapper ForteBowie, Ryan Hemsworth, Flume, TOPS, and Empress Of. Evy Jane, who plays live at Glasslands the next day (10/19) (another Yours Truly party), DJs in between sets. The flier for that show is below.

Kilo also plays the previously mentioned Life or Death CMJ showcase on October 20 at 92YTribeca with Hilly Eye, Dogbite, Twerps, Slug Guts, Jozef Van Wissem, Mac DeMarco, Maria Minerva, Sky Ferreira, and two special guests. Tickets for that show are on sale or you can try to get in with your CMJ badge.

Kilo Kish is set to release a new single for her song "Navy," which was produced by Odd Future's The Internet (who Kilo toured with over the summer) on 12" vinyl this week (10/8) via The Blue Rider. On September 28, The New York Public Library is hosting "56th Street Round Table: Rap Today + Its Future" at the Chambers Hotel with panelists Jon Caramanica (The New York Times), rapper Kilo Kish and Fader editor Matthew Schnipper. The event is from noon - 2 PM and tickets include lunch from Momofuku branch Ma Peche.

You can catch Kilo Kish live when she opens for SBTRKT at Terminal 5. Tickets are still on sale for that.

Daytrader and Have Mercy are opening at the previously-mentioned The Jealous Sound show at Gramercy Theater. Tickets are still on sale.

Tickets are now on Citi and other presales for Lady Gaga's upcoming shows at MSG and Barclays Center.

Speaking of huge shows that you probably want to avoid, Swedish House Mafia have thanfully announced one last tour (with shows at MSG and Barclays Center).

Those shows aren't until March though, EDM enthusiasts looking for an excuse to dance with the Jersey Shore crowd in the new Barclays Center, can do so much sooner when Sensation hits on October 26 & 27.

Kilo Kish

As mentioned, Kilo Kish will be supporting Odd Future's The Internet on their upcoming tour which kicks off Saturday (8/4) in DC and hits NYC at Bowery Ballroom on Sunday (8/5) with Phony PPL. Tickets for Sunday's show are still available.

Kilo dropped the HomeSchool EP earlier this year (which you can stream below) and just followed that with a new song, "Watergun" (prod. The Internet), which you can also stream below. Her flow is similarly conversational (but less sarcastic) to Kitty Pryde (who also has an upcoming NYC show).

Kilo Kish will also be supporting SBTRKT on part of his upcoming tour, including the Red Bull-sponsored NYC show at Termnal 5 show on October 11 with Koreless. Tickets for that show are still available.

SBTRKT continues to move up in the world, and after having played Webster Hall and MHOW back in April, he will return to NYC on a fall North American tour for what will be his largest NYC show to date, Terminal 5 on October 11. The show is with some solid support acts, NYC Odd Future affiliate Kilo Kish (who opens for The Internet at Bowery Ballroom on 8/5) and UK bass producer Koreless. Tickets for that show are not on sale yet but check ticketmaster for updates.

SBTRKT also just dropped a random 2+ minute cut on his soundcloud called "Gloss," which you can hear below, alongside a list of all upcoming tour dates and the North American tour flier.

As mentioned on BV Chicago earlier this week, Odd Future announced some news and a tour that happens after the previously announced The Internet and Tyler the Creator/Earl Sweatshirt shows.

Odd Future will head out on the "Camp Flog Gnaw" tour in September, tagging The Paramount in Huntington, NY on 9/4 and Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT on 9/8, along the way. Tickets for both of those shows go on sale at 10am today (7/20). All dates, which include Jay-Z's Made in America fest, are listed below.

Meanwhile, OFWGKTA member Frank Ocean is on tour, hit Austin last night, and will be in NYC for a sold out show at Terminal 5 on 7/26, THE SAME NIGHT Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt play NYC's Best Buy Theater with Raekwon and Asher Roth. Earl joined Frank on stage for "Super Rich Kids" in LA. Hopefully NY will get some of the same action. Listen to Frank's album Channel Orange at Spotify. All remaining tour dates are listed below.

And speaking of on-stage collaboration, Trash Talk are currently on a west coast tour with SpaceGhostPurrp and were joined by Tyler the Creator at their Anaheim show last night (7/19). Trash Talk will release their new record in the fall on Odd Future Records which also has new albums coming from Odd Future members Mellowhype, Domo Genesis, Mike G, and Tyler the Creator.

Domo Genesis' album, No Idols, is the first upcoming release. It's due out on August 1, and you can listen to/download the lead single "Elimination Chamber," featuring Earl Sweatshirt, Action Bronson, Vince Staples, and The Alchemist, at the bottom of this post. MellowHype's Numbers is due out on October 2. Take a listen to a new track for the album, called "La Bonita," below. Trash Talk release their new record, 119, on October 9, and Tyler, the Creator's Wolf is due out sometime in November.

Odd Future's The Internet (aka Syd tha Kyd and Matt Martians) will be going on a tour this summer which hits NYC for a show at Bowery Ballroom on August 5 with Phony PPL and Kilo Kish. The show was announced at noon and tickets immediately went on sale (why does everyone in Odd Future do that?).

As mentioned Odd Future's Tyler, the Creator & Earl Sweatshirt will be in NYC for a show with Raekwon and Asher Roth on July 26 Best Buy Theater. Tickets for that show are still available.

Odd Future also recently posted a short film to their website called "Sam Is Dead," which was directed and scored by Tyler, who also stars in it along with Domo Genesis, Lee Spielman of Trash Talk, and others. You can watch that video below, along a list of all dates...

Rustie

Scottish producer Rustie released his great debut LP, Glass Swords, last year via Warp. Rustie, like Warp labelmate Hudson Mohawke, is making some of the dancier music of the UK bass scene with tracks like "Hover Traps" that pull equally from dubstep and '90s dance music. Stream some tracks from the album, and Rustie's most recent output, an Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, below.

Rustie has a few North American dates this month including a Shortcuts party at Santos Party House on May 15 (tomorrow) with SpaceGhostPurrp, Mess Kid and Kilo Kish. Tickets for the NYC show are on sale now. The flier for this show is below.
