Rustie
Rustie

As mentioned this past January, Williamsburg got a new, 452-capacity dance club, Output at 74 Wythe Ave by N. 12th St. We weren't sure exactly what types of "techno, house and other EDM styles" would be booked at the venue, but we're happy to report that they've already got some great shows coming up, as part of their weekly Thursday party, INPUT.

Tonight (2/28), Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs is DJing the venue with Rory Phillips and Nick Hook. Tickets for tonight's show are available.

We already mentioned that Shlohmo's tour with D33J hits the venue on March 7, but that show is even better than we knew then, because Rustie, Jackmaster, and Oneman are on it too. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

Then on March 14, Maxxi Soundsystem will play with Compuphonic, Plastic Plates, and Let's Play House's Jacques Renault (tickets). Meanwhile, there's a Let's Play House party happening this Friday (3/1) at Le Bain with DFA Records DJ Shit Robot and Eug.

The Night Slugs crew is hitting the venue on March 21 for a great show which features Bok Bok, Kingdom, L-Vis 1990, Girl Unit, Mike Q, Rizzla, and a live set from Teengirl Fantasy collaborator Kelela. Tickets for that one are on sale now.

You can stream a Rustie track below...

Bok Bok
Girl Unit

Night Slugs, one of the best current labels for left field bass music, are putting together a mini-tour with Girl Unit, Kingdom, and label co-founders Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990. The tour surrounds Holy Ship!!, which sets sail off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale on Friday (1/4), and it hits NYC on January 11 at Steel Drums (35 Beadel Street in Brooklyn). Tickets for that show are on sale now.

The show flyer, a list of all dates, and some song streams are below...

DJ Rashad
DJ Rashad

Chicago footwork producer DJ Rashad released the excellent TEKLIFE Vol. 1: Welcome to the Chi album earlier this year, and played a Brooklyn show at 285 Kent soon after with Total Freedom and J-Cush. All three of those artists will be returning this weekend for another show at 285 Kent on Sunday (9/23) with Visionist and a "surprise special guest." No word on who the guest is, but the show is the official after party for the Gang Gang Dance and Prince Rama show happening at 285 Kent earlier that night (the third of three GGD shows in NYC this weekend). Admission for this all ages party is $5 before 1 AM and $10 after.

As for LA producer Total Freedom (aka Ashland Mines), who opened on tour for Gang Gang Dance last year, he'll be landing in Brooklyn a bit earlier for a warehouse party at 110 Troutman TONIGHT (9/21) with $hayne and Rizzla. The flier for tonight's show is below.

Meanwhile, J-Cush will also be at 285 Kent on Saturday (9/22) for the previously mentioned Sasha Go Hard show. That bill also includes DJ Manny, Cedaa, and Durban. $5 at the door before 1 AM. That will be Sasha's second NYC show of this week, having played Santos with LE1F last night (9/20). How was that show? Sasha loved it.

If dancing into the wee hours of the night is your thing, those three shows are only two of the many dance options in NYC this weekend. Head below to see more...

Holy Ship

Though there may be another release of tickets, the 2nd annual electronic music cruise Holy Ship!! sold out before any acts were announced. Or to be more specific:

Everyone who purchased a pre-book for HOLY SHIP!! will receive a token May 22 with a booking time to reserve a cabin. Only one pre-book is valid per cabin. Cabins can be booked by token holders anytime after the token goes live up until June 20. Token holders who do not book by June 20 are no longer guaranteed a cabin. If any cabins remain after this initial booking period, those who are on the wait list will be contacted.
If the rest of the cabins aren't taken by those on the waiting list, then they'll be released to the general public.

Here's who ticket holders will get to see at the event taking place Friday, January 4 through Monday, January 7, 2013. Complete lineup listed below...
