On the heels of a highly successful, critically acclaimed sold-out 2012 festival, the Sasquatch! Music Festival unveils its 2013 lineup, which once again features 4 days of music. The festival, hailed as "a model of well-paced programming...in a four-day schedule as efficient and natural feeling as an expertly built algorithm" by NPR Music while Wired notes, "leave the landscape out of it and Sasquatch! has a lineup to kill for," runs May 24-27 (Memorial Day Weekend) at TheWoot. 2013 Lineup below...

Diplo, who was just in NYC opening for Afrojack at Pier 94 on December 30 (pictured above, video below), will be doing an interesting run of shows this month. On January 20, the super producer will set out to play four cities in one day. He'll begin at 6 PM in Baltimore's Ottobar, then make it to Philly's Sound Garden Hall at 9:30, Atlantic City's Mixx @ Borgata Resort at 12:30 AM, and finally he'll end in NYC at The Westway at 3:30 AM. In related news, Diplo's Major Lazer project will release its new album, Free the Universe, on February 19 via Mad Decent/Downtown. The album features guest spots from Santigold, Amber Coffman (Dirty Projectors), Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend), Wyclef Jean, Flux Pavillion, and others. Diplo released the "Express Yourself" 7" this month, the single for that track from his EP of the same name. You've already seen the video for that song, which features bounce artist Nicky Da B, and below we're offering a stream of the single's b-side, "Move Around" (featuring Elephant Man and GTA). That's the cover art for the 7" above. Pick up a copy on green vinyl.
Diplo, Grimes, Skrillex (one of the greatest guitarists of all time), Tokimonsta, Pretty Lights, and others are set to head out on the Full Flex Express Tour, a tour of Canada on a train modeled after The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, and The Band's 1970 Festival Express tour.
Although the Full Flex Express tour doesn't come to the US, Diplo, Skrillex, and Pretty Lights will all be in NYC later this summer for Electric Zoo, which returns to Randall's Island from August 31-September 1. Tickets are on sale now. The full lineup is listed below. Skrillex will also be in the NYC area for Bamboozle this weekend.
Speaking of electronic dance festivals in New York, the Electric Daisy Carnival will occur at MetLife Stadium this weekend from May 18-20. The lineup includes MSTRKRFT, Richie Hawtin, Fatboy Slim, Bassnectar, and others. Tickets are available. Full lineup below.
In more related news, the touring Identity Festival, whose lineup was a bit better last year but certainly bigger this year since it sold out in less than 24 hours, returns to NY on July 28 at Jones Beach. Artists playing include Datsik, Eric Prydz, Nero, and more. Full lineup below.

A-Trak @ Terminal 5 on April 30th
HARD Events, Cloud 9 Adventures, and Bowery Presents have announced the first Holy Ship! cruise (which is the new name for "HARD Cruise"). The cruise leaves Ft. Lauderdale on January 6 aboard the MSC Poesia with stops in Port Lucaya, Bahamas and a private island, returning to Ft. Lauderdale on January 9. The lineup includes Fatboy Slim, Diplo, Rusko, A-Trak, Steve Aoki, Skrillex, Destructo and others. Tickets go on sale June 15 via the Holy Ship! website. The full lineup is listed below.
A Pre-Cruise kickoff party will take place at Revolution Live in Florida on January 5. More details and lineup to be announced.
On January 8, 2012 the cruise stops at a private island where Fatboy Slim, Diplo, Buraka Som Sistema, and Dillon Francis play the first ever Holy Ship! Beach Boutique party.
