healing as we speak!
Monotonix

All scheduled shows go on as planned!
We are hoping Ami will recuperate fast, and are planning to play all scheduled shows.

Sorry Athens, we'll do it some other time. [say Monotonix]

Even with singer Ami Shalev's injury during a Florida show less than a week old, Monotonix are preparing their next trip on the road. The band is still on to play Australia at the beginning of March, and they'll be going across North America in April. All in all they missed maybe 1.5 shows total from the whole thing?

They're known for pairing on a bill with just about anyone (like when they tour with Silver Jews in fall '08), and Monotonix will join experimental K Recs folk collective Old Time Relijun and punkabilly rock bandTh' Legendary Shack*Shakers for a Wednesday, April 14th show at Brooklyn Bowl. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 5th at noon.

The Shackshakers' new record Agridustrial will be out April 13th (one day before the show) on YepRoc. A widget to get a track off that album, a video from the show where Ami hurt himself and all tour dates below...

Les ClaypoolPrimus's Les Claypool is calling "The Oddity Faire" a "A Mutated Mini Fest". You can also call it a tour with an interchanging set of openers that varies by date. In NYC the show is at Terminal 5 and the openers are Saul Williams, O'Death, and Secret Chief 3. The date is March 28th. Tickets are now on Am Ex presale, and go on regular sale on Friday.

Other openers for the tour are Mutaytor, Yard Dogs, and Devotchka. It's unfortunate that Devotchka is not also on the NYC date, but that makes sense since they can headline Terminal 5 by themselves and have their own show coming up at Webster Hall.

O'Death have also lined up a ton of other tour dates that don't include Les. They'll kick things off in Baltimore on January 29th and end up back in this NYC-area for a February 14th show at Maxwell's with Legendary Shack Shakers. Tickets are on sale. From there they go to Europe before meeting up with the Primus front-man back in the USA in March.

All dates below...
