Robotic Empire has dropped a kick-ass debut from a semi-Brooklyn band (their myspace lists them as Philly-BK-Bethlehem) of kick-ass lineage. Gods & Queens is the new band from guitarist Jamie Getz of the fallen but ferocious Philadelphians Lickgoldensky (members are now in Lords, Javelina) and Versoma (with Mike Hill of Tombs/Anodyne, as well as members of Orchid and Saetia).

Recorded by Jason LaFarge (Devendra Banhart, Angels Of Light, Akron/Family, Khanate) and mastered by Nick Zampiello (Isis, Jesu, Converge, Torche), imagine Fugazi or an Am-Rep band drowning in a sea of shoegazy reverb and noise... panicking and thrashing, desperately trying to claw their way out.

Gods & Queens untitled debut record is out NOW on LP (with requisite CD companion) and Cassettes, but you can dig on two new tracks available for download above... check out the awesome "Untitled #3" and "Untitled #2" (yes, that's correct, seven untitled songs on one untitled LP) and get out to see the band ASAFP. They'll be at Union Pool in Brooklyn on December 12th. All tour dates are below.

In other ex-Lickgoldensky news, Javelina is currently touring the southeast and are scheduled to land in NYC on Dec 7th with Nachtmystium, Malkuth, Bloody Panda, and Velnias. The band is also working with Sanford Parker on a follow-up to their debut LP. Those tour dates are below too...
