Pissed Jeans at MHOW in 2013 (more by Dana (distortion) Yavin)
Jay Z's Budweiser Made In America Festival happens Labor Day Weekend (8/30-31), this time happening simultaneously in Philly and LA. Like last year, the Philly lineup of mostly rap, R&B, electronic and festival-level indie bands will be complemented by some punk bands including Pissed Jeans, Glassjaw, Nothing, The Menzingers and more. Those bands play on The Skate Stage which goes from 2:30 to 7 PM each day and should be to seek refuge if you need to get some aggression out before Grimes and Chromeo.
LA's Skate Stage was announced too, but that one's more dance-oriented with DJ Mustard and Grits & Biscuits. Tickets for both fests are still available.
Main stage lineups for both fests are HERE. Full Skate Stage lineups below...

Jason Shevchuck w/ Kid Dynamite at House of Vans (more by David Andrako)
Producer Will Yip has become a go-to guy in the punk scene, sitting behind the boards for Title Fight, Balance & Composure, Pity Sex, Sainthood Reps, Citizen and many others, and on October 8, he'll release a compilation titled Off The Board: A Studio 4 Family Compilation (pre-order) with previously unreleased songs from those artists and a number of others he's worked with. Proceeds from the album will go towards funding his partnership at Studio 4.
One of the songs on the compilation, which makes its premiere in this post, is "That Thing That Separates Em," the first new song in years by None More Black, the band fronted by Jason Shevchuk of the once-again defunct Kid Dynamite. Check it out, in all its scrappy punk glory, along with the comp's album art and tracklist, below.
