Maserati and Majeure are going on tour, playing the Bottle

As seen on BrooklynVegan, Maserati and Majeure are teaming up for a fall North American tour.
The adrenline-filled post rock four-piece, Maserati, are touring in support of their recently released Temporary Residence Limited-album, Maserati VII, which contains all the usual ingredients: an eclectic mix of driving dance rhythms, arena-rock guitar riffs, and psychedelic textures. Matt Albanese replaces the late Jerry Fuchs on drums, and provides a heavier dance beat direction on the new album through both organic sets and drum machines.
Contributing to the psychedelic theme of the tour is drone artist Majeure (aka A.E. Paterra of Zombi). Majeure just released his second full length album, Solar Maximum, via Temporary Residence Limited, furthering his exploration of the cosmos through analog synths and early 80s sci-fi soundtrack influences. His minimalist approach to sounds and textures provides for a spacey listening experience, traveling in and out of a hypnotic trance. Stream a couple of tracks from each artist below.
Look for the labelmates to roll through Chicago on November 11 for a performance at the Empty Bottle. Urbana’s Psychic Twin are also on the bill, and advance tickets are still available.
