Tight lineups all around including Meowskers (who I actually haven't seen live yet). Meowskers are also playing live at Union Hall in Brooklyn tonight (November 30). Stream their whole EP.

Salt & Samovar (also playing Zebulon December 12) are the band that Nic Harcourt loves so much (and they're even from Brooklyn).

Takka Takka are busy recording a new album in the studio with Sean Greenhalgh from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. I saw Takka play a show during CMJ, I can say it seems like they're taking going in a completely new direcion with this one - a good direction.
