Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard are currently on the road, and about to pull the van into Vassar College in Poughkeepsie to play a show tonight (4/7). The Vassar date marks the second to last show on a short (over a week) tour that will terminate in NYC Friday (4/8) at Silent Barn with The Beets, El-G & Preston Spurlock.
The Silent Barn show must be a late one though because Jeff will also be performing earlier on Friday at a MoCCA 2011 Pre-Party with Peter Stampfel at SUTRA Lounge (16 1st Avenue). $5 cover (donation to The Museum of Comic & Cartoon Art) (they play that one at 7:30pm sharp).
Starting Saturday, 4/9, Jeff will spend two days at the Museum of Cartoon and Comic Art's Festival at Lexington Armory (68 Lexington Avenue between 25th & 26th St).
