Diamond Rugs

Diamond Rugs -- the supergroup featuring John McCauley & Robbie Cowell of Deer Tick, Ian Saint Pe formerly of Black Lips, T. Hardy Morris of Dead Confederate, Steve Berlin of Los Lobos and Bryan Dufresne of Six Finger Satellite -- will release the followup to their 2012 debut LP, Cosmetics, on February 24 via Sycamore Records/Thirty Tigers/RED. The bar-rockin' first single "Voodoo Doll" can be downloaded above, and various pre-order bundles are available here. Artwork and tracklist below.

Diamond Rugs have also announced a tour in support of the new record with New Madrid, which hits NYC twice: first at Bowery Ballroom on March 27 and then again at Brooklyn Bowl on April 11. Tickets for Bowery go on sale at noon on Friday (1/16) with an AmEx presale starting at noon on Wednesday (1/14), and tix for B Bowl go on sale at 10 AM on Friday.

The shows happen across over 20 Colorado venues. Passes are on sale now.

As discussed, the Treefort Music Festival is returning to various Downtown Boise, ID venues from March 20-23, and since we last spoke, more acts have been added. Additions include Polica, Dan Deacon, Perfect Pussy, Chastity Belt (whose related band Childbirth, we just wrote about), This Will Destroy You, The Dwarves, RJD2, Blockhead, Cody ChesnuTT, Disco Doom, Iamsu, Naomi Punk, Special Explosion and many more. They join previously announced names like Run the Jewels, Built to Spill, Breton, Saintseneca, SubRosa, Warm Soda, and more. Tickets are still available.

As discussed, Georgia's Savannah Stopover festival, which happens right before SXSW, is returning this year from March 6-8, and since we last spoke, the full lineup was announced. New additions include Kylesa, Wye Oak, Future Islands, Eternal Summers, Heavenly Beat, Nothing, Esben & the Witch, Spires, TEEN, Connections and many more joining previously announced names like Weekend, Speedy Ortiz, Public Service Broadcasting, Ex Hex, and more. Tickets, including 3-day pass, 2-day pass, and single day pass options, are available.
