Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds at Governors Ball 2015 (more by PSquared)
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds continue to tour in support of 2015's not-bad-at-all Chasing Yesterday. While a full North American tour has not been announced, they will be playing NYC on July 5 at Beacon Theatre. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (1/15) at noon with a fanclub presale on Thursday (1/14) noon (sign up for Noel's mailing list for the password).

Noel Gallagher will soon back with his second High Flying Birds album, titled Chasing Yesterday, which will be out March 2, 2015 via Sour Mash Records. (Looking back in anger is a no no; chasing yesterday may be something he finds good, bad or unavoidable, we'll have wait and see.) This is the first he's both written and produced himself, and Johnny Marr plays on closing track "Ballad of the Mighty." The first single is already out and called "In the Heat of the Moment" which is not an Asia cover. It's in the disco-rock direction much of his first solo album was, with a nagging "nah nah nah" chorus. Noel can still write a hook. The video just premiered and you can watch that below....

Rock Werchter, which falls a bit more on the mainstream side, happens in Belgium even sooner, running from June 28 - July 1.
