Native made their mark on the math rock/post-hardcore scene with their 2010 debut album, Wrestling Moves. Since then they've toured relentlessly, and they're now finally set to release that record's followup, Orthodox, on August 20 via Sargent House (Chelsea Wolfe, Russian Circles). The first single from the new album, "Kissing Bridge," goes from familiar noodly guitar/raspy vocals into borderline-shoegaze, and finally ends in a noise guitar freakout. Check it out, along with the album artwork and tracklist, below.
Native will be supporting the new record on a tour with O'Brother and Daylight this year, which hits NYC on September 12 at Santos Party House. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
